According to the same source, the project covers Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger and is funded by the International Development Association (IDA) to the tune of $121 million.
The source said each country was alloted $37 million for a period of five years and $10 million set aside as subsidy to the West African Health Organisation.
The project focuses on health policy in Niger which aligned with the WAHO mission and that of the World Bank, aimed at reducing poverty and ensuring that growth benefits everybody.
